Life in Georgia was the two of us and the poochies. Most of the time it was peaceful since all of the family is North (Chris and I each have two sisters. I also have a brother-in-law and a niece). Visits back and forth are probably not as often as people would like, but balancing work schedules here and life up there is difficult (especially when it means one has to spend 9+ hours in the car!).

All of this changed in 2006 when we told the families we were expecting. Yes, that's right, you read correctly. We actually had kids (and not just one, but two!).
Now family visits here are more often, and we've managed one trip back, but with the kids being so little, it was really tough.
2008 Update: Ok, so now it's 3 kids. It's still tough to drive 10+ hours with them being so little, but we've managed 2 trips back this year.

This family page is going to serve as the gateway to the pregnancy journals, the countdown (and how we told the families about the twins' impending arrival), and our photos. Use the links on the left to decide what you want to look at.

Family news begins the countdown, the story, and how the family found out about the twins.

The Story skips right to the (first) pregnancy journal.

To find out about our second pregnancy story and results, you'll want to read here.
