Level 2 began March 25, 2001. Mom and Dad Benson joined us for the substructure work, and despite what Dad says, Niki was NOT trying to kill him with the amount of work! (I promise I wasn't!).

Level 2 meant more ledger boards and some concrete holes being dug in the dirt for 6x6 posts.

The joists went quickly.

Chris and Niki spent a couple weekends putting on the decking, along with help from Mike and Brian. The number of helpers certainly spead up the process!

Rails went up quickly here also, which made Niki feel better (I didn't have to worry about Flurry pretending she could fly!).
